Mission Statement
The primary aim of our blog is to provide a place to discover death metal and to talk about, showcase and review releases, bands, and movements within the genre. Here you’ll find everything from retrospectives on bands and their discographies, album reviews, overviews and introductions into various scenes, directions and movements within death metal, deep dives into certain niche sounds or topics within the genre, and generally anything related to death metal and the subculture around it. While the primary aim of our website is death metal, you’ll find various articles about other metal genres (and music in general) here too. We have a wide cast of authors, each with our own tastes and focuses, and niches of music we’re most familiar with and knowledgeable about.
